Sutliff Tobacco Company R-Blend

R-Blend is a multi-component American blend produced at Sutliff's facilities in Virginia. Its base contains burley and Virginia leaf; a small amount of latakia and perique along with pressed leaf are added to build a layered structure. Records indicate the blend brings together a number of taste elements that are hard to pick apart individually; none overpowers the others, so its character is built on a balanced whole rather than one dominant note. The smoke is soft and measured; nicotine strength stays below medium, and the taste sits close to medium. It has been removed from Sutliff's catalog and is not currently in production.
