Sutliff Tobacco Company SPS-41 Cube Cut

SPS-41 Cube Cut is a cube-cut burley product in Sutliff's bulk line. The leaf is pressed and cut into small cubes; this cut allows for easy pipe packing and an even burn. According to the maker's description, it is built from selected domestic and imported leaf, with a light casing applied that sweetens and darkens the tobacco. The taste runs along a nutty, bready, earthy line; there is no pronounced flavoring layer. It is one of the products blenders often use as a base tobacco, but it is also smoked on its own.
