Sutliff Tobacco Company SPS-701 Virginia Longcut

SPS-701 Virginia Longcut is a straight Virginia product in Sutliff's bulk line, cut as long ribbon. According to the maker's description, it is prepared from pressed Virginia leaf, with a light casing applied that sweetens and darkens the tobacco; it carries no flavoring layer. The taste is earthy and moderately sweet, softer than straight Virginias generally and with less tendency toward tongue bite. Its strength stays on the low side. It is positioned primarily as a component used for a blend's base or to add natural sweetness to another mixture.
