Ashton Celebrated Sovereign

Celebrated Sovereign is Ashton's modern English-style mixture produced during the McClelland era. The blend is built on Virginia leaf, Syrian Latakia, Turkish-Oriental tobaccos, and black Cavendish; records note it as one of the few blends to use Syrian Latakia. Its draw is easy, and the smoke is plentiful and spicy; Latakia sets a woody, smoky base while the Orientals bring sharpness, and Virginias carry a balancing sweetness. Production stopped after McClelland closed.
