Century Jamestown 1607 Plug
Jamestown 1607 is one of the Century line's pressed-plug records. Per the seller's description, ten-year-aged orange and red virginia leaves are combined with latakia and pressed into a dense plug. The name refers to Jamestown, the first permanent English settlement in North America and the birthplace of the tobacco economy there. The plug tobacco needs to be sliced and rubbed out before smoking; a thick slice burns slowly, a finely rubbed leaf faster. The dark, fruity sweetness of aged virginia sits alongside latakia's smoky, resinous base; no top flavoring is applied.
