Missouri Meerschaum American Patriot

American Patriot is the latakia-containing member of the tobacco line Missouri Meerschaum, known for its corn cob pipes, launched in 2013. Blender Russ Ouellette built the line around the idea of old American-style blends designed to be smoked in a corn cob pipe; the blends' names come from the company's pipe models. This blend has an English-American construction, with a touch of bourbon note accompanying the latakia. The latakia proportion isn't high enough to count the blend as a heavy English mixture; virginia sweetness and burley's dry body can be picked out over the smoky base, and the bourbon casing is only barely perceptible.
