Peretti Devonshire

Devonshire is a blend that has long been part of L.J. Peretti's English-style line. Per the maker's account, only a pinch of Latakia is added on top of aged Virginia leaf; rather than driving the blend, Latakia gives it a light smoky edge. This construction produces an unflavored, measured English blend that keeps Virginia's bready sweetness at the center. Being ribbon cut, it requires no preparation.
