Peretti No.8 Slice

No.8 Slice is a Virginia/perique mixture that Peretti blended and pressed specially for a club. Per the maker's description, several distinct full-bodied Virginia varieties are pressed together with perique; today it is offered as a plug rather than slices. The plug lets the smoker cut slices to their own thickness, giving control over burn rate. The profile is spicy and layered; with a pronounced share of perique, flavor intensity and satisfaction run high.
