Peter Stokkebye Luxury Navy Flake

Luxury Navy Flake is produced by pressing and slicing ripe Old Belt flue-cured Virginias with a small amount of Louisiana Perique. In keeping with the classic navy flake recipe, a very light rum flavoring is applied to the blend; this flavoring is measured to the point of being hard to notice. When the slices are rubbed out for packing, they light easily. On the palate, Virginia's sweet side, recalling citrus and dried fruit, leads; Perique stays well in the background, a faint spicy trace. Body and nicotine are low.
