Rattray Red Lion

Red Lion is one of Rattray's traditional English blends. Golden Virginia leaf is joined by Latakia's smoky character, black Cavendish's sweetness, and the spicy sweetness of Greek Basma-type Oriental leaf; it is a ribbon cut. The blend's body is full and filling in nicotine. Latakia smoke and Oriental spice trade off through the smoke, while Cavendish builds a sweet ground in the background. It carries no flavoring. The Rattray name draws on the Scottish pipe-tobacco tradition; the brand's tobaccos are produced today in Germany.
