Wessex Campaign Dark Flake

Campaign Dark Flake, the dark Virginia flake of the Wessex Brigade series, is produced by pressing and slicing Virginia leaf that has undergone a stoving process. The product description states it arrives dark brown, partly broken apart, and ready to pack into the pipe; the cut is flake, and the content is unflavored Virginia. Its character is deep and full, yet soft; it sits in the medium band on the strength scale and is described as intense enough to hold its flavor even in windy outdoor conditions. Since it arrives in the tin quite moist, airing it out for a while before packing is a common practice.
