Wilke Pipe Tobacco Lizzie Blood Red Virginia: Final Verdict

Lizzie Blood Red Virginia: Final Verdict is the heaviest link in the Lizzie Blood series from the New York-based Wilke house. According to the maker's recipe, roughly half of the blend is Perique; the rest consists of golden Virginia. Perique brings spice, lightly sweet plum, fig, raisin, and earth notes, while Virginia carries the citrus, bread, and sugar side. Blood-orange essence is applied on top, though the Perique intensity leaves this casing largely in the background. This is a dry, cool-burning, medium-strength but flavor-full record. Wilke offers this blend in bulk packages ranging from 2 to 16 ounces.
