Palmer is a Wilke blend built around Maryland Burley. According to the maker's recipe, the Burley is joined by Virginia, Perique, and the house's own Royal Scot cavendish. Burley contributes nut, earth, wood, toasted bread, light sugar, and molasses, while Virginia adds citrus, grass, and a light floral tone; Perique provides spice and dried-fruit sharpness. The Royal Scot cavendish keeps a creamy vanilla sweetness in the background. Strength stays mild to medium, and the burn is cool and smooth.
