Wessex Gold Slice

Gold Slice is a blend built solely from light-colored Virginia leaves, pressed and then cut into flake. It belongs to the plain-Virginia wing of the Wessex series and carries no flavoring casing. Since light Virginia's natural sugars concentrate during pressing, the smoke rests on hay, dry grass, and a lemony sweetness. It stays smooth when smoked slowly, though it can produce sharpness on the tongue if rushed.
