Directory of Polish Pipe Brands

The Directory of Polish Pipe Brands gathers, in alphabetical order, pipe brands established in the country or run by Polish makers. The center of gravity of Polish pipe making is the southeastern city of Przemyśl; records trace this tradition back roughly a century, to the work started by Wincenty Swoboda.

The chain of makers who trained in the Walat brothers' workshop extends down to today's one-man workshops, and some of the entries below can be traced to this family tree. Brands with no detailed information in the records are also listed by name. Swiss Pipe, included in the list, is not of Polish origin; it appears in this compilation because of its place in brand catalogs, and this is noted in its entry as well.
