The 2022 edition is one year of this series. Per the maker's description, the blend is built from seven distinct leaves, flavored with dark rum and fruit juices, and pressed into hand-breakable roughly four-ounce blocks. Pressing lets the flavoring work into the leaf and soften over time; the block is broken apart and rubbed out for packing. The taste ranges between rum's dark sweetness and fruit, with a Burley-Virginia mixture carrying the body underneath.
