Astley's No.109 Medium Flake

Astley's No.109 Medium Flake is a fully matured flake tobacco obtained by pressing and slicing quality flame-cured Virginia leaf. The tin's contents arrive quite moist; records note it needs thorough airing before smoking, or it will need frequent relighting. The flakes are easy to prepare and burn evenly. Flavoring is nearly imperceptibly light, serving mostly to soften the room note. In the smoke, dry hay, citrus, and bready sweetness stand out; deeper in, a tone close to nutty chocolate and light fruity notes appear.
