Astley's No.99 Royal Tudor Full Latakia Mixture

Astley's No.99 Royal Tudor is a traditional English mixture combining Virginia and Turkish-Oriental leaf with a high proportion of Latakia. The phrase "full latakia" in its name points to the prominence of the Latakia share in the blend. In the smoke, a balance is struck between Latakia's deep, smoky character and the spiciness of sun-cured Orientals; sweetness from the Virginias keeps the blend from becoming too heavy and rounds out the taste. Body is full, with no added flavoring.
