Astley's No.88 Matured Dark Virginia

Astley's No.88 Matured Dark Virginia is a flake tobacco obtained by resting dark Virginia leaf under press for longer than usual. This extended pressing further matures the leaf's sugars and deepens the blend's color. The resulting smoke is stronger and more intensely flavored than the brand's other Virginia flakes; dark bread, dried fig, and woody sweetness lead. Nicotine level is considered high, so it should be smoked slowly and on a full stomach.
